It's not that I like doing my homework I just can't stand it but it's something you don't have to wonder about, it's just a fact of life, I mean, something you do all days, part of your life. It's routine: it could be boring, but it's surely reassuring. I find the homework reassuring. They give you a place in the world, they give you something to do, even if you don't like them.
